Play & Talk Preschoolers
Children will learn and practice skills that support joint attention, social play, social language, and participation in group activities. ​We welcome 5 preschool or pre-K-aged kids to join class.

Play & Talk Play Group
Children will engage with a variety of age-appropriate toys and activities to support toy exploration, early functional toy play, and beginning stages of turn taking and sharing. Class instruction will be split between our instructional classroom and our indoor gym or outdoor gated playground. The class is designed for children who participate in a special education setting where they receive a mix of 1:1 and dyad instruction throughout their school day. We welcome 4 kids to join class.

Play & Talk Recess Club
Children use our indoor gym and gated playground to learn a variety of common recess games and activities. Class will also focus on skills like joining a group, sustaining play in a less structured time, conversation during play, and navigating emotions when winning and losing. Winter classes will support what recess might be like indoors and on "blacktop only" days. We welcome 6-8 kids to join class.

Children will learn and practice skills that support joint attention, social play, social language, emotional regulation, and participation in group activities. ​ P&T Pals is designed for children who are in a general ed/mainstream or special education setting who acquire skills in a larger group and do not require a 1:1 or 2:1 para. We welcome 7 kids to join each class.

Play & Talk Friends Club
We welcome neurodiverse learners looking to enjoy a social experience with friends. Class includes weekly hands-on themes that allow kids to practice a variety of social skills. Skill targets include participation in a group, social play, social language, emotional regulation, and joint attention. Class welcomes 6 kids.
Session 2/Early Winter weekly themes include: cookie decorating - sensory bin making - friendship bracelet making - science experiments - sports night - snow play/snow art (weather pending) - pajama, snack making, and short movie night.

This class is for the girls! Join us in a safe, friendly environment as we dive into all things related to friendship including how to join a group, how to determine which girls have similar interests, how to initiate hanging out, and general conversational turn taking about common tween/teen girl topics. Girls will also dive into perspective taking, emotional regulation, and problem solving social situations. We welcome 7 girls to join each class.​​​

A continuation of our Pals program, pre-teen and early teen kids
come together to further work on nuances of conversation, emotional regulation, understanding friendships and how to approach them, problem solving, and perspective taking. We welcome 7 kids to join class. ​

General Program Information
All weekly group Lead Teachers are elementary/special education teachers that hold certification as Board Certified Behavior Analysts. Our Lead Teachers include:

Placement into class is based on parent and teacher/therapist intake forms.
​
We offer class options for children who receive education in special education settings receiving 1:1 support through those children in mainstream/gen education settings without and without diagnoses. All children are placed in peer groups with those that have similar learning styles, communication levels, and goals.
​
All classes use evidence-based teaching strategies based in Applied Behavior Analysis to support a range of social and play skills, specific to individual classes and individual learners.
​
All Sessions include hourly classes meeting weekly for 6-7 weeks. Parents meet with instructor for the last 5-10m of group to debrief on the class and review strategies to support skills in the home and community. Kids remain in class to continue working on skills. An individual parent conference is offered at the of Session to review progress, data, and to discuss recommendations.
