Inclusive Social Skills Groups for Preschooler to Teens
Designed for children ages 3–14. Our inclusive, neurodiversity-affirming social skills groups bring together neurodivergent and neurotypical children in small, supportive groups where friendships can grow. Through play-based activities, games, and conversation, children build communication, confidence, emotional regulation, and friendship skills while developing meaningful social connections in a fun, welcoming environment.

Social Skills Classes for Preschoolers through Teens in Union County

Preschoolers
AGES 3-5: Children will learn and practice foundational social skills including joint attention, social play, social language, turn taking, sharing, and participation in group activities. Through play-based activities and guided interactions, children will build confidence engaging with peers in a supportive environment. We welcome 5 preschool or pre-K-aged children to join each class. Mondays from 4:30-5:30 Wednesdays from 4:30-5:30

Explorers
PreK & KINDER: Children will learn and practice foundational social skills including joint attention, social play, social language, turn taking, sharing, emotional regulation, and participation in group activities. Each class includes a hands-on project or activity designed to support skill development, followed by movement-based activities in our indoor movement space or outdoor playground. We welcome 6 children to join class. Class will resume in Early Winter.

Play Group
PRESCHOOL & GRADE K-2: Children will engage with age-appropriate toys and activities designed to support toy exploration, functional play skills, social engagement, and early turn taking and sharing. Class activities will take place across our movement space, outdoor gated playground, and instructional classroom. This class is designed for children who participate in a special education setting and benefit from a mix of 1:1 and dyad instruction throughout their school day. Kindergarteners
KINDERGARTEN: Children will learn and practice social skills including joint attention, social play, social language, emotional regulation, and participation in group activities. Through structured and play-based activities, children will build skills for navigating peer interactions and classroom environments. We welcome 6 kindergarten-aged children to join each class. Mondays from 4:30-5:30 Thursdays from 4:30-5:30

Recess Clubs
GRADE K-4: Options: Children will use our movement space and gated playground to learn and practice common recess games and activities. Classes focus on joining a group, sustaining play during less structured activities, conversation during play, navigating emotions, and problem solving during peer interactions. Winter classes will focus on indoor recess skills and activities that support “blacktop only” days. We welcome 6–7 children to join each class. Pals
GRADE 1-4: Children will learn and practice social skills including joint attention, social play, social language, emotional regulation, problem solving, and participation in group activities. P&T Pals is designed for children who participate in a general education/mainstream or special education setting and are able to acquire skills within a larger group setting without requiring 1:1 or 2:1 support. We welcome 6–7 children to join each class. Friends Club
GRADE 2-8: Friends Club welcomes neurodiverse learners looking to build friendships and enjoy a positive social experience with peers. Each class includes hands-on weekly themes and activities designed to support participation in a group, social play, social language, joint attention, emotional regulation, and flexible thinking. We welcome 4–6 children to join each class. Grade 2-5, Ages 7-11 Thursdays from 5:45-6:45 Grade 6-8, Ages 11-14 Thursdays from 5:45-6:45

Tween/Teen Girls
GRADE 3-8: This class is designed for girls looking to build confidence and skills around friendship, conversation, and social problem solving. In a supportive environment, participants will explore topics including joining groups, identifying shared interests, initiating social interactions, conversational turn taking, perspective taking, emotional regulation, and navigating common tween and teen social situations. PreTeen/Teen Club
GRADE 5-8: A continuation of our P&T Pals program, Preteen/Teen Club supports older learners as they continue building skills related to friendships, conversations, emotional regulation, perspective taking, and social problem solving. Through guided discussions and activities, participants will explore the nuances of peer relationships, navigating friendships, and responding to everyday social situations. We welcome 6-8 children to join each class. Tuesdays from 5:45-6:45

Monthly Events
PRESCHOOL-HIGH SCHOOL: Looking for more opportunities to connect with peers? In addition to weekly social skills groups, we offer Play Clubs and Teens on the Town events that give children and teens opportunities to practice friendship skills, try new activities, and build connections in fun, supportive settings.
