Class Options For Kids Entering Preschool - Grade 9

​Camp 2025 Weeks & Themes â€‹â€‹â€‹â€‹â€‹

​

WEEK 1: Game On! (Wk of 7/21)

Kick off camp as we dive into the world of board games, movement games, simple sports, and team challenges. Emphasize turn taking, goos sportsmanship, and problem-solving while having fun with games tailored to different skill levels. 

​

WEEK 2: Builders and Makers Week (Wk of 7/28)

Focus on creativity and teamwork with activities like constructing with blocks, collaborative LEGO builds, cardboard engineering, and group art projects. Kids can explore different ways to share materials and work together to create something amazing.

​

WEEK 3: Adventure Week (Wk of 8/4)

Encourage exploration and collaboration through scavenger hunts, obstacle courses, nature walks, and pretend-play scenarios like a treasure hunt or a camping adventure.

​

WEEK 4: Emotions and Expressions Week (Wk of 8/11)

Use books, music, crafts, and movement games to explore emotions and self-expression. Read stories about feelings, engage in group discussions, create emotion-themed art, and practice mindfulness and yoga.

​

WEEK 5: Science Explorers Week (Wk of 8/18)

Foster curiosity and cooperation with hands-on experiments, sensory play, and group investigations of topics like slime making, bubble science, planting, and nature studies. Encourage sharing discoveries and working together on science challenges. 

​

WEEK 6: All Things Play Week (Wk of 8/25)

It's the last week of summer! Join us for all things play. We'll role play stages of play, practice pretend play, work on conversations during play, and do a variety of close-ended and open-ended play activities. 

​

All camp themes and activities will be tailored toward group members​

Camp Details

Camp runs Monday-Thursday. There is no camp on Fridays.

​

Morning Program

9:30-12:00

$400/week

​

Lunch Bunch​

12:00-12:45

$120/week

Extend your camp day with lunch bunch. Kids will work on social language and nuances of eating with others. Families send in lunch.

​

Camp weeks and lunch bunches will support instruction across the following areas: Joint Attention - Social Play - Social Language - Nonverbal Social Language - Social Emotional Understanding - Self-Regulation - Group Behavior - Friendship Skills - Self-Advocacy

​

Each class will be a small group of 6-7 children.

Each class will have 2-3 adults.

​

Individual parent conferences can be added on at an additional fee.​

​

No make-up classes will be offered during summer camp weeks.

​

The ages and grades of camp groups may be subject to change based on enrollees. Note that final groups will still be complimentary and age-appropriate.
